Christopher Lee is to star in ‘Triage’, directed by the Oscar winning filmmaker Danis Tanovic (No Man’s Land, 11 Sepetember), who has also written the adapted screenplay from the Scott Anderson’s novel.
Mr. Lee plays the part of Joaquin, a notable retired psychiatrist who was at the service of Franco’s regime, just after the Spanish Civil War. His granddaughter, Elena, is being played by Spanish Actress Paz Vega (Lucia y el Sexo, Spanglish). Colin Farrell plays the part Elena’s boyfriend, a photographer in need of psychiatric help.
Production starts next week at Ciudad de La Luz Studios in Almeria, the largest studios in Europe and will continue in Ireland. The movie is an Irish/French/Spanish production and will debut at the Cannes Film Festival.
