I want to know if the movie "The whip and the body" is already on DVD at the stores?
Why YES IT IS! !!! i've had it on DVD for the past couple of years ACTUALLY! !! & it's a pretty damm good movie 2! anyways the ONLY drawback on it is the fact that it's NOT dubbed THAT WELL! Mr. Lee's Voice isn't in it AT ALL! which is really weird cause the man was a vetran for doing Dubbing when it 1st came out in Circa (1963)! & the "Audio Commentary" isn't bad either. it's interesting '"Tim Lucas" didn't do that bad of a job when he did it AT ALL! NOW ONLY if they will release some of his lesser known work onto Dvd! hmmm...????!!
I live in France and here it has been released in DVD.It's easy to find it in big stores like Virgin or FNAC.I have seen it many times.Kurt Meinlif is one of Mr Lee's best parts. The movie is a little weird like an awake nightmare.
This Flim has been out on DVD for some time, most shop will have it, its on sell at Amazon,
Speaking of rare movies I was out renting films the other day when I happened upon a VHS copy of "To the Devil a Daughter" it was an original release copy I think. Quite a nice find especially when one cannot find any Christopher Lee films to rent there save for Star Wars and Lord of the Rings!
I heard that Mr. Lee's wife was a little uncomfortable with certain scenes that Christopher Lee made in that movie of "The whip and the body". What exactly scenes did she refer to?
Kitka de Lioncourt
the clues in the title mr lee uses a whip on miss lavi's fine bod, and she looks as if shes enjoying it a little 2 much.
has to be the first sado-masocistic (apologies for spelling) horror film and Bava's finest hour.
I watched last night, I bought it, wowww now I know what are you talking about!
Mr. Lee is perfect, he with his deep brown eyes made me thrill, I found him absolutely handsome and interesting, if I were his wife I'd feel uncomfortable and jealousy also!
I attended this film to the 16 years, after having left the janitor of the movies " crazy", because I had inferior age to enter in the session. He ended up giving in and I saw Mr. Lee as Kurt. But a doubt pursued me: Was the voice or no of him? Is it true that several scenes were cut?
