Since it has been officially announced in a press release that Sir Christopher will reprise his role in "The Hobbit" (in addition to to Juan announcing it on this website earlier this year), I wonder if there are any news concerning where and when the Saruman scenes will be filmed.

Filming for the two parts of "The Hobbit" will continue for many more months (probably going into early 2012). Anyone heard anything about lengths or start date of the Saruman scenes? Maybe Juan knows something?

Thanks and have a nice day

It is not a good idea to use

It is not a good idea to use images of Frodo, Legolas and Galadriel in "The Hobbit".

I can only assume in October.

Elijah Wood did mention going to the U.K. sometime in October to film something, then going back down to NZ.  My guess is this is to accommodate Sir Ian Holm, who is probably not comfortable traveling far.  If they're in the U.K. during October, why would they pass up the opportunity to get Sir Christopher's scenes in the can as well?  It would certainly make things easier, and Sir Ian McKellen may even be in the U.K. in October still, because of The Syndicate running into September.
