...about a very deep, intelligent man. Sir Christopher Lee has certainly lived a life most others have only dreamt of or read about in the best of fiction. He came from royality. As a patriot, he fought for his country in WWII (and served as a spy with his step cousin Ian Fleming). Not only did he succefully carve himself a career in film but also excaped the cruel confines of a career in horror. Now he enjoys status of the elder statesments in motion pictures.
My question: With all his life experience, what religious faith, if any, does Sir Christopher Lee subscribe to and how he arrived at that belief system?
A recent interview said he values the sanctity of marriage. That sounds like he would be a Christian but one should never presume.
If one wonders why ask, the reason is simple: I've always held to the view that one can better understand an individual by what they believe. And I also wondered if maybe his faith may have also played into why he wanted to get away from horror (barring the obvious if you look at what has happened, professionally, all the other actors strongly associated with horror).
