Question Christopher Lee Retrospective

So... Is there any possibility of continuing with Mr. Lee's career retrospective ? I really enjoyed the 1st DVD and am waiting patiently for the remainder. I'd love to see this project completed. If there is any assistance I could give, please let me know!
How about the rest of ya'll ?
Thanks.

Absolutely! I would love to see a follow up to the excellent "Making of A Legend" DVD. 1958 onwards I believe. can't wait.
I think the first volume is still for sale in the store Don.

I bought the first part of THE MAKING OF A LEGEND and I was hoping that the project could be completed. I would be particularly interested in Christopher's own views on the Hammer films he starred in in the sixties and early seventies.

Could Juan please update us on any further progress on this.

1stly i did look a week or so ago on the store. my question is simply this how much in US $ does it cost? with money differs when it comes to US Currency & England's pounds they tend to confuse me. i am a member of rapidshare & according to my brother who helps me out pay for it. i pay for it he just does the figuring it out on how much it'll cost. anyways according to him pounds on how much say 10 pounds changes all the time. bear in mind that this is how he tells me for paying for rapidshare. i don't really know if this is true or not? cause he didn't really do that great of a job explaining it to me to be honest.

i just may ask for this for x-mas! & yes Juan Please give us an update i'd LOVE to see what he thinks of some of the lesser films he's done as well. as well as the good ones as well. also i wonder how many volumes there actually will be? cause he's done soo many films ya know?

Post Re: Christopher Lee Retrospective

Hello everyone,

I agree with all of you regarding The Making of a Legend. It would definitely be wonderful to see more volumes released, especially as the first volume ends in the year 1957 leading up to the moment that would prove to be a crucial turning point (one of many) in Mr Lee's cinematic career. However, I also understand that Mr Lee remains a remarkably busy actor with current and forthcoming projects and commitments, and I can imagine that recording this kind of retrospective demands a great deal of time and consideration.

I remember discussing this with Juan a couple of years or so ago at a signing event for "Revelation", and I recall that he said the project would also require and/or benefit from professional technical assistance "behind the cameras", so to speak. Juan suggested that I raise the idea of continuing the series with Mr Lee himself, which I did, and Mr Lee seemed really enthusiastic about it. I suppose that the major factor is finding the time and getting everything in place in order to record it. I would also like to see other actors who have worked with Mr Lee contributing to the retrospective, such as John Rhys-Davies who provided the introduction to the first volume; perhaps even directors too. In any case, it would be a worthwhile project to try to achieve. Anyway, take care everyone:

Warmest regards,

Andrés
