Any news on "Cowboys for Christ"?

Yes, it's me David Clayton, again asking more questions. But here, I actually can get answers since everyone here knows about Christopher Lee. Anyway, I have been wondering for some time about Christopher Lee's next film, titled "Cowboys for Christ". I know that it will star Mr. Lee, as well as Vanessa Redgrave and Sean Astin to name a few. Also, it will be directed by Robin Hardy, who directed "The Wicker Man" with Christopher Lee as Lord Summerisle (forgive me if I mispelled the name). But other than that, I know of nothing else. Please, if someone can take the time, answer to my post. It will be much appreciated! Thank you all who answered my question about "The Whip and the Body". I'm sure you can be of assistance again! The last word I read about the filming of 'Cowboys for Christ' was Mr. Robin Hardy mentioning February/March of 2007 (sorry I didn't keep the link....VERY remiss of me). This timing was 'neccessary to simulate spring' (per RH)....

Anyway that is all I have seen in quite awhile.....

IF the timing is as Mr. Hardy would like, then over the next months we will probably start seeing more 'current' information on the Internet and this site....

Thank you Helen for your help! It seems to me that they are keeping "Cowboys for Christ" from being heard of. But hopefully, there will be a website that gives some more information. The only website I know of that gives very good information for most films would be www.imdb.com but so far, there is nothing new on the film. Again, thanks for helping me out Helen! David, It really isn't a question 'that they are keeping 'Cowboys for Christ' from being heard of', it is more a question of: at what point is the 'pre-production' in?...New information about a 'film in progress' doesn't SEEM to be released unless there is something 1)important, 2)interesting, 3)novel, or 4)scandelous to report.....IMDB.com is a good source, but not always the most current.

I have found the following link which talks a bit about 'Cowboys for Christ' as a 'Projects in Development'...(Scroll down the page 3rd entry)...Here they list that LeeAnn Rimes is part of the project (Which I had also read that Mr. Hardy had her in mind for a part in the movie), this data is missing from the IMDB....

Anyway, as the production progresses we will hear more information..It is just a matter of being patient....and then..... impatiently waiting for the release!
