Question "I, Monster" question...

I was thinking of getting “I, Monster” the Amicus film Mr. Lee did in the 1970s. I have heard that it does contian a certain amount of nudity and such, that might not be appropriate for certain ages. Can anyone who has seen it tell me if this is true and if it is to the excessive?
Also, did you feel the film itself worth watching?

Thank you!

Jessica

Re: "I, Monster" question...

It's a very good version of Jekyll & Hyde featuring a terrific central performance from Mr Lee . As memory serves .......... there's no nudity at all .

Re: "I, Monster" question...

Actually, there is a very brief topless scene in the film. Brief being the operative word.

It's an excellent film, but do be advised that the quality of the DVD currently in circulation is wretched.

Thank you for the reply!

I've heard about the quality. Sounds very disappointing. But if it's as good as it sounds, it may be worth it.

And the rest of you gentlemen, thank you very much for your feedback! I'll
certainly
look into getting the film now!

Re: "I, Monster" question...

It's worth it to see the film, yes. At least it's widescreen.

Jéssica, don't know if you acquired the film I,Monster. If he/she already made him/it, I hope it has liked. I adored, he is in my list of the favorite ones.
I found Mr. Lee's grandiose interpretation as always, but I thought with me: Like him it is good in that! That monster was perfect.
I didn't just admire the end.

Yes, now I want to also do you to see that. Not only you, but Cindy that seems not to have seen me also.
.... He was a doctor.. elegant... very professional... he turned a pleasant monster of beginning... then.... that prostitute humiliated him... so ducky the monster..... and then...... great interpretation of Mr. Lee. Like him he made that character well. Everything was perfect in his interpretation. The scene with his cat, then... I cried.Mas eu não quero que você sofra

But I don't want you to suffer, Vicky, because I know and I feel in the skin not to see SAFARI 3000, The hands of Orloc and other.
Desire luck so that you get to see those marvels done by Mr. Lee.

Hello everyone,

I am sure that you will enjoy this film, Vicky! As other people have already said, a very curious version of "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde." Mr Lee excels as Dr Marlowe/Mr Blake, and gives one of his finest performances. Mr Cushing is also very good, as always, although, from what I recall, his character has very little to do in the film, which is rather a waste of a good opportunity. This is easily one of the best adaptations of Robert Louis Stevenson's story I have seen. Happy viewing:

Warmest regards,

Andrés
