Where does a new fan start?

I am starting to become a big fan of Mr . Lee, after seeing many of his films. But after seeing he has made over 200 films, where does one begin? I would see wicker maan if it did not have that sex scene and everything....

If you want to see the more older movies of Mister Lee I gotta disappoint you I think. I've been looking everywhere for older movies and I didn't find them in the library and when I did the VHS was kaputze.

You could check e-bay however, I don't do internet trading cuz I'm quite young, don't have a creditcard and paypal etc. but perhaps you are old enough or have paypal.

I would suggest Crimson Rivers II, it's a brilliant movie where Mr. Lee plays as Heimmeric von something forgot the last name but it's a very good movie.

Rasputin The Mad Monk is a great movie. I assume it's the Anchor Bay release??
If so, even if you do not like the movie. The audiocommentary with Mr Lee is excellent and worth your money.
Same applies to The Devil Rides Out, which is indeed an excellent movie.

I was wondering Jacob as you live in the Netherlands like I. Where did you buy those movies?

I've looked at the library and everywhere else (the internet was hella expensive, I was outbid or they insisted I payed with paypal or creditcard which I don't have and in the library it was VHS, they didn't have it or the VHS wasn't working )

My eyes are itching as I wanna see some of the older films where Mr. Lee plays in.

I found Resputen the Mad Monk and the Devil Rides out on DBD on Amazon.com. I found alot of the old Hammer horror movies there to, which I am dieing to see...

PS, You are darn right a commontary with Mr. Lee is worth my money....he talks like a....like a...good talker. I mean, even if he's playing a evil character, you have to shut up and listen to him. He's one of those guys who you HAVE to listen to. He coudl talk about his favorite bathroom all day, he could talk about cheese, or lead a litterally discussion of "Heart of Darkness' and keep that interesting (Heart of Darkness...the nightmares of the book our coming back to me....blah....blah...blah.......it was about a guy telling a story about a guy telling a story. I'll stick to "To Kill a Mockingbird", thanks Comrad. Man, Mr. Lee could me all my posts interesting...and that's imposible)

Oh I'm not saying I'm not willing to pay something of Mr. Lee like an old movie but with my teenage salary it would take me months just to afford one of those DVD's

I buy them online. (credit card needed (+ region free dvd player))
From America http://www.dvdpricesearch.net/cgi-bin/dvdhtml2
Set Netherlands as shipping country...and do an Christopher Lee actor search.
Lot's of titles to choose from.
Most of the time i buy from : http://www.dvdpacific.com/
From the UK www.play.com

Dracula, Prince Of Darkness and The Devil Rides Out has been released in Holland by Paradiso entertainment.
http://www.paradiso.be/index.php?st=...w&when=archive

Most films are not available for the Dutch market so importing dvd's is the best way to collect these older titles.
