Greetings--return of an old member!

Hello!

I joined back in early 2002 sometime. My old I.D. was "SarumanRules"! I dont know if many people remember me. I remember Juan of course...Jacob...Joakim...not many others. Looks like a few things have changed around here!

I was living and working in New Zealand for several years. From late 2005-early 2007. I moved back Stateside after news of my father passing away, and have been here since April 2007 in central Florida.

I will be moving BACK to New Zealand in February or March '09 with my new wife! (been married 7 months now)... =)

Anyway...glad to be back!

well thank you!

I even took a photo OF the photo that Juan so graciously got for me back in 2002. This had been in storage for nearly 3 years!

Thank you! I wanted to post it, and maybe jog Juan's memory! If I remember what happened correctly, I had purchased a Saruman photo online from a well known autograph dealer in Los Angeles. When Juan saw it, he immediately told me "there is no way Mr. Lee signed that;" even though it looked very authentic. Juan offered to get a new one for me for a minor fee (I think it was 30 or 40 pounds), and I must've waited 8 or 9 weeks---and boom--it soom arrived in the mail via the Queen's post. It's been a prized possesion ever since! It's a conversation piece when people see it in my home.

Yeah I remember quite a few names. Matt Gemmell was one I recognized last night. I BELIEVE I joined around April 2002...right around the time Attack of the Clones had come out. I remember I had the "premium" membership...where Juan sent out all the card and a membership #. They were little white laminated cards with a photo of Mr. Lee in a blue suit. Absolutely. My members card still sits with pride of place in my wallet now.

well welcome back. i was a member i believe at that time as well. when did you leave the site? i believe my name was stimpy. if you look back at my posts somewhere is my old screename. buut welcome back though. i wonder how many other older members are left to join? :)

Well for a year or two, I would still browse the forum under SarumanRules. But i forgot my password after a time. SO...then I couldn't get the password back because I was no longer using the email account attached with the user ID. That mustve been sometime in 2004 or 2005? Then I ended up moving to New Zealand, and didnt surf the web much at all the entire time I lived there. Just the other night I re-watched the Return of the King and the death of Saruman reminded me to check this website out again and try to rejoin! I'm glad I did. I'm glad it's still here and that some of the oldies are still here!

A very warm welcome back to CLW, Brandon! I first joined CLW in early 2004, but I didn't post anything for a long while (for several reasons). I believe I did see the screen name "SarumanRules" posting on the different threads in my early days as a member (my own screen name was "PoeRaven"). In any event, it's wonderful to see more people in amongst the forums, whether they be new faces or old familiar ones. I hope that you will continue to enjoy your time here, and I look forward to reading more of your posts in the future.
