I'm cheryl and from Essex.
I lived here for the past 10 years, and before then I grew up and lived in Kent.
Though I was not born there, I was born and spent the first few years in Hillingdon, Shephards Bush in West London.

I have two grown up children who are Debz and dan and theyre aged 25 and 24 now.
they too are fans of Christopher Lee and enjoy watching the hammer horrors. Along with seeing Peter Cushing, Boris Karlof and Vincent Price.

My favorite ones are Dracula AD 1972 and the Whicker man (with Christopher Lee). He looked great in that long black wig!!!! I thought he was a good dancer,

Nowadays, I have greyhounds for company. Plus two caveliees, cats and jumbo mice. I sometimes foster greyhounds when they retire from racing and help them get used to home life.
At the moment I'm helping to nurse a greyhound back to health because she was badly mauled by another greyhound who ripped her like a piece of meat.
She spent two weeks in the vets and still having skin graphs. Shes on the mend now-showing her true spirit

I think it's great what you are doing with the greyhounds, helping them to adjust to life after racing. I hope the greyhound you are currently nursing is soon fully recovered from her ordeal.

I's very nice to meet you!

Yes she is getting there, and after her ordeal she stills manages a big smile and tail wag. Shes a lovely lady. Always smiles through whatever life throws at her.
So far she had a transfusion and 3 ops after this attack. Plus bandaged legs in the colour of the rainbows. Nice colours, but whenever she walked into the bright purple decorated hallway-you needed to wear sunglasses because the colours clashed.

This does look like to be a wonderful site and Christopher is a great guy!

When I was a child, Master Christopher Lee frightened me (a lot) and I had to cover my neck with my arm to can sleep! Realy! "His horror" was amazing in me!

A very warm welcome to CLW, Cheryl! Although technically my home lies within the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, we're actually closer to Shepherd's Bush (the Green is literally just across the road from us) than we are to Hammersmith proper. So a wave from someone who lives in the area where you spent the first few years of your life. I used to pass through Hillingdon several times a week en route to University, which rubs shoulders with Uxbridge (all this approx. 15 miles from central London). I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark ally dressed up as dracula. It's that look he gives in the out fit is so good, it's enough to scare satan underground.

I remember Shephards Bush green/common and mum and dad ran a shoe shop near there. We lived in the flats above the shoe shop and my sister Wendy was born there in 1968.
I know at one time we lived in Uxbridge road and my relatives lived in Uxbridge/Hayes/ Hillingdon/Ealing areas. I was born in Hillningdon hospital.
My great grandfather Kemp and mother lived in Hayes town.
I was back in Uxbridge in the late '79-82 going to the Unit one in Uxbridge, on Fridays and sometimes on Tuesdays when some bands met up and musicians.
I miss the old place and had good memories, though I been told the whole areas now are not as nice as it used to be.
I was planning to do a vet nurse course at Middx uni, but still on the diploma stage. I started the student thing late because of other commitments.
Do you support any footie teams there?
Jammy the greyhound is getting there. Shes taking one day at a time. She wore an Elizabethan collar once while in the vets. When I visited her one day, she looked like a big bird burying her head in the sand-in embarrasisment.
When I lifted her head up to see her face, she looked at me to say.. "please don't see me like this." She nows wear mens t shirts and one is of Upton Park.
People think shes a West ham supporter :)
She has a very big heart, that girl has. Very gentle and friendly.
Are we able to up load pics here to show her her?

They cute and very pretty. They look like baby rats, but have the mice tail.

Dumbo mice are an extension of the gremlin gene. Dumbo mice have two lowered ears usually recognizable by two to three weeks of age.
Gawd, those creatures in that film Chrisopher was in. They those too

Mine are a mixture of colours and a little bigger than that pictured with a cute fat bum.
Someone brought them to feed their snake but changed their minds. So the ones I have are very lucky and living a life of luxery.
They very friendly :)
I don't know how to instal the web cam on this laptop, then I would show you my ones.
