Hi everybody,
I saw another member felt the same way as I did and started his thread here with 'Online introductions are awkward' - which is exactly the way I feel. Especially since I'm not really new to the site; I've been lurking here for some time, just never dared to take the plunge and register. But hey, one can only be a closet Christopher Lee fan for so long, right? :)
Being a little too young to see Christopher Lee's more legendary films, I really got hooked after he played both Count Dooku AND Saruman (yep, another Star Wars fan) though I'd seen him in Gremlins 2 and the Robin Hood TV series. I remember reading about Attack of the Clones and going "Gee, wouldn't it be great if Christopher Lee played Count Dooku?" Then George Lucas made my dreams come true. So I started getting some of his older movies (the Tim Burton ones) and became a real fan. One of my life ambitions is to meet him before I die - I've met the other White Wizard (Sir Ian McKellen) but this one is still my favourite :)
There, I've come out of the closet. This is a great site, and I hope to make some friends here - at least you guys will be able to stand me when I start quoting his lines (it drives my real-life friends crazy).

Hello everyone,
A very warm welcome to CLW, Aaron! I hope you will enjoy your time here and I look forward to reading more of your posts in the future. I remember how long it took me to write my first post here, which came many months after I had initially joined, so I can totally relate to what you say in your post. Anyway, you've taken that first step, hopefully with many more to follow. Take care and all the best:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Hehe....you seem like a kewl guy! I'm new as well, and am rather young and learned about Mr. Lee much the way you did! It's very nice to meet you!

Thanks guys. It's lucky there's a proper forum where we can share in Chris Lee fandom - not many other actors have a central place for their fans.
And Jason - sorry for ripping off your post title, it really said it all :P
