Rep Power: 0 | Online introductions are awkward. Ok I don't know why but online introductions have always been a little awkward for me but here it goes. My name is Jason Hunt and I live in San Antonio Texas, I'm 18 years old and I've been aware of CL for about 6 years now. I first saw him as Count Dooku in Star Wars II and being a Star Wars junkie made it my business to know everything about Star Wars. However I didn't really get into CL until about 4 years later when I saw him as Saruman in Lord of the Rings (Which shared a spot with Star Wars and Indiana Jones as my favorite movies of all time.) Having an actor in two of my favorite movie sagas was too good to pass up and he's been my favorite actor ever since. There the introduction is over, I've finally broken the ice.

Hello,
I AM STEVE, AND I WELCOME YOU TO THIS SITE.
I'm trying to be clever with that greeting, as I'm paraphrasing a line spoken by Mr Lee in one of his groundbreaking roles.
A very warm welcome to you Jason, from a fellow Star Wars fan also. Although I'm getting a bit long in the tooth now, as I remember being a star struck teenager watching it on the big screen back in 1977. I'm sure you will enjoy your time here at CLW. And I look forward to reading some of your posts.
You probably have already, but I highly reccommend seeing Mr Lee's earlier film roles.
All the best.

Hi Jason
Welcome to this wonderful site. You say you find online introductions awkward but that was a great first post!
It's good to see younger fans like yourself becoming aware of Mr Lee and all the great work he has done.

Hi Jason and all CL fans. I know the feeling about online introductions. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to web fora etc. But a hearty welcome from myself. Am hoping to get a much better handle on all things CL and navigating around these fora. On one note if anybody picks up on this, I am trying to search for a CL BBC broadcast from 2000 in which he narrated three (I think) M R James ghost stories. Does anybody know about these? Has anyone seen them? and more importantly can you get your hands on them?
Best of luck
David

Wecome David!
And a good Irish name you have there! I'm sure you'll feel comfortable here right away and have as much fun as the rest of us.
I'm sorry I can't help with the BBC production, I'm in the U.S. and our access is somewhat limited. Look forward to chatting with you more. Hugs!

Dublin | Firstly, A very warm welcome to you David. I'm sure you will enjoy it here.
Secondly, only yesterday, I was looking at the same productions on the IMDB site. Internet Movie Data Base.
I would like this production aswell. Can't remember if their was a link to any Dvd's. I might just have a look again.
Bye for now
All the best.
