Rep Power: 3 | HELLO FROM GERMANY!!
Hello to all of you!!!!!!! I am a BRANDNEW member of this fantastic site and I am happy to be here. Well, it will take a lot of time to read everything here, but I am looking forward to it!!
I nearly failed by my registration, but THANK JUAN, we managed it now. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!
Honestly, I adore Mr. Lee(well, please help me, how to name him: Mr. Lee? Or Sir Lee?) for more than 30 years now. By the way, I was 41 in September last year.
It is fantastic that I found a site for US: For all of the Christopher Lee Fans in the world. And where good, compared to other websites: It is not so anonymous here, people use their real names and photos. Very good idea and I am sure to feel "at home" very soon. And please forgive me all of my mistakes - I love the English language, it is one of my most important hobbies, but it is not my native language. You will notice that, I fear!!
I hope to meet many interesting, nice and humorous Christopher Lee fans here..let us share the love and adoration for a brilliant actor, very friendly and absolutely attractive man!!!!!!!!!
And, by the way: I WISH YOU A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE A GOOD ONE, FOR ALL OF US!!!

You will love the place and will learn a lot on our idol, Mr. Lee. You will also bring with certainty, innovations for us. Have fun and also participate of everything that CLW offers us. I bump a lot of times into the language, but even so, the love and affection for Mr. Lee, they make to leave in front and I try to be involved in almost everything.
Forward Daniela!

Hello Daniela,
welcome to CLW! Enjoy your stay.
Don't worry about your English, it sounds very good.
This great website has helped me a lot to improve my English, since I have been reading and posting here. It's a good place to learn further, not only the language but about Mr. Lee's various talents.
Greetings from South Germany

Thank you, dear Conny, Stuart, Kaitlin, Isabel and Helen....what a lovely WELCOME, I am really flattered by that!
Conny, you live in the south of Germany? I live in the south-west...and yes, I enjoy learning more and more English. I should be used to it, because I was travelling to England for sooo many years. After a little break, I should start it again. I remember one year, in London, with my ex-husband(he is English, by the way). He had to run around with me, because I was looking for one special book of Mr. Christopher Lee. It was called "The films of Christopher Lee" and of course, I still have it here, so precious to me! My poor man, he was sooo tired after a while, because it took ages to find it. But I was still full of energy, it was because of the greatest actor on earth: MR. LEE!!! Sorry, for that boring, long story...
Thank you Stuart, for the compliments about my English...that helps me a lot! And you are English, YOU CAN JUDGE, LOL!
Isabel, I have a special affection for your name(was my first choice when I was pregnant with my little girl. But now she is 10 years old, and called Diana, LOL!) and the language in your country...although I don`t speak Portuguese, I love the sound!!! I haven`t met so many Brazil people yet, just a few, but they were all very kind, very alive and really warm-hearted!! I love meeting people from all around the world! And thank you for your nice words!
Kaitlin, I do agree with you, I am sure I will have a pleasant time here..you are all very nice and we share something very important, a real treasure: The love for Mr. Christopher Lee. I hope you don´t mind if I use the word "LOVE" but I am sure you know what I mean.
And thank you, dear Helen...I enjoyed your words as well, and YES, I already watched Mr. Lee`s Christmas message! I am still very impressed and a little bit "dizzy", because he is such a adorable man! He seems to be very warm-hearted and I LOVE HIS VOICE, as I think we all do that!
I promise to post as often as I can, because I don`t want to become a unsteady member/visitor of this site. But, oh well..as you certainly know, somtimes life can be very busy, especially when you have 2 kids! But I try my best, big promise to ALL OF YOU!!!
And I am looking forward to all of the information about the fantastic Mr. Lee! There is still so much I don`t know but there is something you learned about me now: I am a real chatterbox and better stop here!! Sorry for that...
Have a good Sunday night, I enjoyed your greetings that much!!!
Take care,
Daniela

Hello everyone,
A very warm welcome to CLW, Daniela! I'm delighted that you have found Christopher Lee's official website, and I very much hope that you will enjoy your time here amongst fellow enthusiasts of Mr Lee, the gentleman and his work. Your English is excellent, and certainly superior to my non-existent German. According to my old English teacher, German becomes easier after the third year of studying it, whereas the longer you study English the harder it becomes. I have no idea whether he is right about German, but English is definitely not the easiest language to learn. Anyway, before I digress too much, let me just say that I look forward to reading more of your posts in the future. Take care, and all the best:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

HELLO David and HELLO Andrés!
Thank you so much for your warm WELCOME...so many nice people here! And I am telling the truth, I experienced other websites for different interests, and I must say now: There are so big differences, and sometimes, people can be very ignorant or even rude. But I feel, that this website is a very "friendly place" and I enjoy it. Although I just started.
Andrés, I can`t judge about the German language, of course - it is my native one! But I always enjoyed learning English and never it was never really difficult to me. It was my best subject when I was at school, German as well. But I was absolutely horrible in maths, LOL! I think it depends on yourself, if you are very interested in something. I was always an "England lover" and I adore the English language for ages! No wonder, I adore Mr. Lee as well!!
Don´t worry that you don`t speak German, it is not the "most important" language on earth and people say, it doesn`t even sound very nice. I speak just ONE foreign language, if you compare to Mr. Lee`s fantastic knowledge in sooo many languages, it is next to nothing! I am soooo impressed by that brilliant actor/singer/man, I could write hours on it. But I think you would fall asleep, so I better leave it.
Nice to meet you, David and Andrès, and I promise, I will ask YOU if I get problems with my English. And as I wrote before, I try to be here as often as possible. I LOVE THIS SITE and I can see here, you do as well!
Have a nice day, and greetings to all fans of the marvellous gentleman Mr. Lee..wherever you are!!
Yours Daniela from Germany

wilkommen Daniela, ich spreche ein klein bischen Deutsch, aber ich spreche mehr Franzosisch und Englisch. I hope my German was passable, I haven't used it much since I left high school in 1989. This is a great site for Mr. Lee's fans to meet and speak to each other.

Hi Daniela,
I also live in the south-west .
Your English is indeed very good. It's obviously that you are an "English enthusiast".
Since my first visit in London I'm very interested in this country and the language, too.
If you like you can write hours about our loved Mr. Lee. I definately would not fall asleep.
Doug, your German sounds good.
Conny

Hello Doug, Hello Conny!
Thank you Doug, for your lovely WELCOME to this site. I agree with you,it is such a nice "place" here and the people are soooo friendly. That fits quite well - because the man we all adore, seems to be very, very kind as well. WE HAVE SUCH A GOOD TASTE, haha!
Oh Doug, your German sounds nice and how can you complain? You speak English, French and some German. Just look at me - I speak German and I try to be PERFECT in English one day...before I die....maybe I finished learning in 25 years. Or I should go and ask Mr. Lee how to learn so many languages. Very impressing.
Doug, where are you coming from? England? USA? Canada? Lovely to meet people from all around the world.
Conny, that is very funny, you also live in the south-west? Yes, you are right, I am a kind of English FANATIC, I really love it, the country as well. I have been to London, Bristol, Cornwall, Exeter, Sidmouth, Portsmouth, Oxford and so on. I like the people and as you see, I also love the British actors, haha. But Conny, your English is great as well and I am happy that I found someone who loves the country and the language as much as I do. Thank you, Mr Lee, that is your reward!
So many nice people here, I am glad I found this site...and while I write to you, there is something nice in the background: "The magic of the wizard`s dream", my favourite song...Mr Lee has got such a marvellous voice...oh well, I did it again, talking, slobbering over Mr. Lee. But as I know now, Conny won`t fall asleep! You are so kind!
Kind regards from Germany,
Daniela

Hello there,
here's another one from Germany, from Düsseldorf (you may know, the little fat boy in "Charlie and the Chocolate factory" came from my hometown, but speks bavarian dialect in the movie...),I always enjoyed the site so I thought I should log in.
I'm a fan since I am 8 or 9 years old (now I'm 41), watching a Hammer-Movie on TV, even it was forbidden by my parents. Glad I was a bad boy that night...
