I can't tell from this picture how big it is:

but I would guess somewhere between 5 and 6 inches.

Does anyone know the actual measurement?

I saw it when I was in Toronto.

It's about 2 1/2 times the size of a large grape fruit.

or 1/2 the size of a bowling ball.

It seemed rather big, but I guess wizards hummm.........palantir...needs to be on the larger size........

Actually, that would be about the right size for such a device.

Having seen my share of "crystal balls", a close friend of mine once had an Obsidian sphere that looked remarkable similiar to Saruman's Palantir. Quite pretty.

I'm just going to assume that it is about 13 centimeters in diameter unless someone comes up with a more precise measurement.

Humm

Sounds on the small side but seeing it's a ruff guess it's as good as any.

Next time I go up to Canada I will take my tape measure, ya never know what I will run into that needs to be measured...

This topic is turning into some sort of script for a Carry on movie !. Laughing out loud it`s been dificult not to come in earlier. ooooh Matron.

Hmmm, it`s give me a new idea for an interactive storie .
Imagine if Mr. Lee was in a Carry On movie.

Anybody think of a title ?

Matron."Your mail Sir"
Dr. Lee " I know I am, and don`t let anybody tell you different"Laughing out loud :D
