English Film: Jack the Ripper / 1960's or early 70's..

I bought a DVD that has NOT been remastered. It is an English / British Film called "Jack the Ripper" that starred Klaus Kinski.. It is in color, and I would assume that it was done in either the late 1960's or early 70's... The film also co-stars Josephine Chaplin, as well.... Has anybody seen this version or know anything about this film and the quality? Peace...

I have seen this film, but it was in german dialogue. It was definately not filmed much in london from what i remember. There were some good scenes and quite a bit of nudity. It was made in 1976.Klaus,with his female helper, would transport the bodies of his victims to his home, where he would cut them up.I saw the uncut version, where he removes the breast.

Yes. I do believe you are correct.. The film has been dubbed in English, but it very well may have been filmed in Germany.... For a film from 1976, it sure as hell has not held up well... It does need restoration very badly.... Yes.. The film has a lot of "T & A" in it... But, I like nudity.... Cheers...

I saw this film years ago and thought it was truly awful.
