Question The Far Pavilions

Hi guys, I'm currently reading the two volume novel of The Far Pavilions. Actually, it's the second time I've read it.
When the mini series was on cable many years ago, I actually would go into my chemistry class late so I wouldn't miss it. good thing my prof was understanding. anyway, I remember the portion of the book that mr. lee was in. however, I can't remember which character he played, was it Mulraj, head of the imperial guard or Kaka-ji, paternal uncle to the Rajkumaris of Karidkote?
I'm almost done with the first volume and it's been driving me nuts. PLEASE....SOMEBODY HELP ME! By the way, if anyone is interested, this is a spectacular story and very well written.

Re: The Far Pavilions

Thanks Christian :) The Far Pavilions is a very wounderfull love story. I would suggest you see it. Christopher Lee part in it is really really good. If you have sceen The Many Faces Of Christopher Lee he talks a little about his role in The FarPavilions.

Re: The Far Pavilions

OH LAUREL! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I can still see in my mind the gorgeous costumes that mr. lee wore in the mini series. I was so caught up in it when it was on. how they cut it down to movie length is beyond me. but I'm going to order it anyway. Try the book, you learn so much more about the Hindi culture since the author's husband was an officer and they lived there before they got their independence. thanks again HUGS!

Re: The Far Pavilions

I never attended the film, but I saw comments of Mr. Lee on the film in The Many Faces of CL. He talks about slangs of the time of the 2nd war that the actors spoke at that time about the filmings.
