I was surprised to see CL in The Golden Compass! It was a most pleasant surprise, like meeting an old friend on the street by chance!

Thumbs up Re: The Last Christopher Lee Film I Watched Was ........

I have recently watched the Directors Cut of The Wicker Man, which I found very interesting. Seeing previously cut scenes, restored to the film, was fascinating. But I also found myself paying very close attention and enjoying very much, the original scenes involving Mr Lee and Edward Woodwards character. Their first meeting at his residence was, I thought, perfectly played by both. The subtle exchanges between these two men of such differing, and extreme beliefs. The writing is exceptional.
When questioned by an obviously shocked Sergeant Howie, over the sight of young ladies dancing naked, Lord Summerisle replies, seemingly bemused by his reaction... "Naturally, It's far too dangerous to be jumping over flames with your clothes on", which of course was skirting Howies real issue with such a sight, but made so much sense, and makes me chuckle every time I hear it. Wonderful writing and wonderful acting.
All the best to all.

In the theatre it was Star Wars: The Clone Wars. At home it was Man with the Golden Gun.

Re: The Last Christopher Lee Film I Watched Was ........

I agree with you steve, I also have the directers cut of this movie and LOVE the interplay of the two characters. I love the look on Mr. Lee's face (not to mention his singing voice) in the scene in which Howie confronts Summerisle with the rabbit corpse. hehehe I can only discribe it as patient condisention, (not sure I spelled that right, but you get the idea) My dictionary is never around when I need it!
but the last movie I watched was THE HORROR OF DRACULA. I think the battle between Van Helsing and Dracula should have gone on longer. Dracula was after all experienced in fighting off vampire hunters and would have been smarter than they portrayed him, but I still think he could bite me anytime! :P

1stly Kelly, i bet. hehe anyways, i've watched a few. 1. being 'The Gorgon' i hadn't seen that in QUITE a few years. & was quite pleased that i still enjoyed it the 3rd or 4th time. the 1st time i ever saw it i remember being surprised on who the Gorgon actually was. anyways, "Corridors of blood' while NOT a classic buut NOT a bad film either by any means. Mr. Lee is as alwys EXTREMLY Creepy well especially in this one. :) hehe also i just watched Curse of the crimson alter. for the very 1st time.

& i think "Corridors of blood"is by far a SUPPERIOR film than "Curse of the crimson alter" & i am of course just referring to the films he did with "boris karloff' which i found to be a decent film buut NOT great & the ending i think was a bit of a let down
as well as the film being to slow. & a bit confusing for me as well. or is this just me?

I have just watched the film: Jaguar Lives, but I became sad that Mr. Lee was so a little in the screen.
