Re: New Hammer/Lee DVD Boxset

Thanks for that Matt. A couple of films I haven't seen in that set. I might just have to add them to my collection.
Cheers

Re: New Hammer/Lee DVD Boxset

Thanks for the info, Matt. Terror of the Tongs is one of those films that I have never managed to see.

I think Devil Ship Pirates is an excellent picture and Mr Lee is wonderful in the lead role of Captain Robeles.

Hi Kelly,
Referring to those four films in the set, I cannot remember ever seeing the Christopher lee titles. Of the many, many films that Mr Lee has made, there is quite a few lesser known titles that I am just starting to discover. No need to hang your head in shame at all.
I have just bought myself The Theatre Of Death, which I do not recall seeing, and I am looking forward to seeing what it is like.
Thanks for taking time out to peek at my sculpt aswell.

Take care, and have a scrumptous Easter.

Don't worry Kelly. Mr Lee has made so many movies over his 60 year career, I can guarantee that nobody on this site has seen all of them!

Of this boxset, I have only seen two of the films - Devil Ship Pirates (well worth a watch) and Pirates of Blood River.

This is what is so great about being a fan of Mr Lee - you can always find one of his films that you have never seen before!

Said well, Stuart, I agree!
From the three films I have only seen Pirates of Blood River, which I recommend. Hopefully this boxset will be available in Germany.

Re: New Hammer/Lee DVD Boxset

Hi Everyone, If this is 'old news' I apologize....I just found that the 4 DVD set (Icons of Adventure Collection (The Pirates of Blood River / The Devil-Ship Pirates / The Stranglers of Bombay / The Terror of the Tongs) (1964))has been released. I have found it on Amazon.com (It is available as of tomorrow, June 10th) and some other sites.......

Cheers,;)
Helen

The ICONS OF ADVENTURE DVD is now available from Amazon.co.uk. I have these films on tape but I will probably update to DVD.
