New movie "The Hunchback"

Screenwriters Julio Ponce Palmieri and Max Ryan are planning to film a remake of the classic tale of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" by Victor Hugo. The project called "The Hunchback" isn't fully financed yet, so it may never be actually produced. The screenplay has won the author a special price at the Queens Film Festival a couple of days ago.

In a video from their acceptance speech at the festival they mention some actors and actresses who agreed to appear in the film, if it's get made. Christopher Lee is one of them!

Let's hope this film will be made. It's simply a wonderful story.

Neat and I noticed the wonderful Steven Berkoff in the cast as well. I love the story so this should be great if it come off

I adore this history. It would be very good to see this again, mainly with Mr. Lee in this.

I think the time is right for a new version of this classic tale.
Especially if it wipes the memory clear of that awful Disney monstrosity.

Sounds good to me Matt, lets hope that if this gets off the ground we get some gothic rendition of it. Tim Burton would I believe do a good job....fingers crossed!
