Wink FunnyMan

I just finished watching 'FunnyMan'. I have to say it is the strangest bit of film I have seen in a long time. But it was also an interesting and definitely unique story-line. I definitely will have to watch it again.

I also enjoyed the interview with Mr. Lee; his comments were very thought provoking. It sounds like he had fun doing the film; and to me that is probably what is most important.

Sometimes I think it would be fun to have a DVD that was just the interviews that Mr. Lee has provided with a number of his films over the years. Each film that I have heard him talk about has provided small bits of insight into his personality and character. Which in turn has continuously increased my respect for him (which is extremely high as it is!)....

I am glad that I obtained this film (even if it is a bit odd) and is now a part of my collection of Mr. Lee's works.

Cheers,;)
Helen

Re: FunnyMan

Funny Man............ oh dear. I remember reading an interview with Christopher Lee just prior to the films release where he states it was the most original script he had read in years.
I can only assume the film they shot differed from that script vastly.
It's quite simply one of the worst films I've ever seen and that's saying a lot.It turns up now and again on the Zone Horror channel in the UK and every time it does I just cringe.
Thankfully Christopher Lee only appears as narrator and escapes the indignity of having to run about after that hideous jester.
