Hi Everyone, I found out that yesterday (3rd October) Mr. Lee was at the Oxford Union to give a talk/Q & A....He even sang 'Man of La Mancha' (Mr. Lee sounds wonderful!)You can hear him on a video clip on YouTube (link below)...
If you have the time and are interested here are the links:

I hope Mr. Lee and all those who were able to attend had a 'brilliant' time!
Cheers,;)

Hello everyone,
Many thanks for posting up the information and the links to this, Helen. It looks like a really wonderful occasion, and I am sure that those who were fortunate enough to be in attendance would have had a brilliant time there. Mr Lee and his voice were in fine form, as always. Great to hear him singing "(I am) I Don Quijote". Thanks again. Take care:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Thanks for the links Helen; brilliant that you can tell us what's happening in our own Country all the way from Colorado. If anyone's a member of 'Live Journal' it might be nice if a message was posted on our hard-working student's blog to let her know that her clip's a hit on the Christoper Lee website. Or maybe she is already a member of this site, in which case 'well done' and thanks for sharing the experience.

What is the quote from the film 'Dune'?...."Traveling without Moving".....
Though I have to say, I prefer 'visiting' England (and other places)!
I appreciate all of your 'Thank You's' though they are not required....Just my small way of contributing to this wonderful Website.....
Mr. Lee did sound wonderful; the acoustics of the Oxford Union were great! I would love to hear Mr. Lee perform in an 'acoustically perfect' 'Grand' Theatre...
Take care everyone.
Cheers,;)

That is a very good article to read.
I am happy when I read comments of Mr. Lee and of like him goes to the work friends. It is pleasant to know that he conserves friendship with Mr. Moore. And I say without doubts that I began to observe more Johnny Depp because of Mr. Lee's words.

Hello everyone,
Many thanks, Asgeir, for posting the link to that article. A thoughtful and well written piece which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Like Helen, I too hope that the photographs will follow in the not too distant future. It was clearly a great event, and I would have loved to have been there. Thanks once again. Take care:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

That certainly looks like a great day. I would have expected, however, an announcement on this site prior to the event or did I miss it ?

Mr. Lee's presence at the Oxford University was part of the 'Fresher's Fayre' where University Clubs provide information and 'membership' application for the students.
From what I have 'learned' (briefly), The Oxford Union is/was a 'debate' society and now has quite a few 'lectures' and special guests.
So in this case (not personally having any experience with 'Oxford'); I don't know if Mr. Lee's 'visit' would have been 'open' to the general public....
Regardless, it was a wonderful opportunity for the students at Oxford....
Cheers,;)

I doubt very much if it would have been open to the public. I simply thought that it was an interesting piece of news which would certainly have warranted a mention on the official site prior to the event.
