Hi Everyone, I have found a number of sites that are discussing a new RPG (Role Playing Game) that is called The Lord of the Rings: The White Council....It is being reported that Mr. Lee will continue with his vocalizations of Saruman...
Although I don't do RPG, it is still interesting to me that the Lord of the Rings Trilogy has opened the way for more of JRR Tolkien's works.....There are many that do not realize that Tolkien not only created Middle Earth, it's language and it's people (as we can see in The Hobbit and LOTR Trilogy); but he also created a whole 'History of Middle Earth' which can be found in 12 volumes (I am still trying to complete my collection).....
The RPG LOTR:The White Council is set 80 (closer to 100) years before what we know as LOTR and middle earth....Saruman was a different wizard then; before his descent to evil for power and greed as we see in the trilogy...
I think it is wonderful that people will have an opportunity to explore more of Tolkien's works (more than just the trilogy), and I am also very happy that Mr. Lee will be continuing his association with the character Saruman....
Now if I could just find someone to do an animated film of Roverandom (a wonderful Tolkien story); Mr. Lee would be perfect to vocalize any of a number (or actually all of them) of the wizards in the story.....
Oh well....
If you are interested and have the time, here is one of the links about the new game.....

Also if you are interested in learning a bit more about Saruman and his role as a wizard, there is a fairly well written account in the Wikipedia....Of course the 'History of Middle Earth' is the ultimate....but harder to obtain......

Happy Reading and Gaming,
Cheers,;)
