Hi folks,
there's another blog mentioned in that article, from a guy names Boris Hiestand. In that blog, the author writes that Mr. Lee came to Australia on August 3rd to record the voice of Mr. Price in a new animated movie called "MonsterMania!". http://umbackagain.blogspot.com/
2007 seems to be a very busy year for Mr. Lee. And we all can look forward to all these new productions.
Have a nice day,
Steve

Hi Everyone, I have a little more information on the recording session Mr. Lee attended..
Elliot Cowan kindly contacted me to clear up some possible confusion.....
Here is the information:
"Just to clarify, as there is a little confusion here, Mr. Lee didn't fly all the way to Australia to record his dialogue.
We recorded him near Soho in London.
The film is called Monstermania! (with the exclamation point part of the title).
The confusion could perhaps have arisen from the fact that I am from Australia.
Boris, my colleague on the right of the page is Dutch and our director is German.
We had an intruiging afternoon with him."
-EC
Elliot is a new member, and I am hoping that he will be able (and willing) to share some of his experiences with Mr. Lee with us in the near future...
I would like to take this opportunity to Thank Elliot and Welcome him to the CLW
Cheers,
Helen

Ahhh.
Apparently I can post comment on here now, which is nice.
For those who are interested, if you pop over again to our directors blog, you can see some more pictures of Christopher, including one of him holding a maquette of the character he's playing, Mr Price.

Hi Everyone,
Being a bit curious about this CG Animation Film 'MonsterMania!' (I think part of that has to do with Mr. Lee's character name....'Mr. Price')...I did a bit of cyber-searching and found this article which talks about the collaboration of those involved in bringing this film to the screen (There is some wonderful talent associated with this film!). The article mentions that completion is scheduled for 2008...The article also mentions a bit about the storyline. Sounds like a fun concept; I will be looking forward to viewing this film.....
If you are interested and have the time; here is the link: http://www.animationxpress.com/index...le=story&id=58
Cheers,;)

Here is a link to a site that talks a bit about the film and has some great pics of some of the artwork behind the film..... http://animation.woeplog.com/2007/06...-release-2008/
(Hope they will have 'sneak' previews to come!)
Cheers,;)

Hi Everyone, I try to keep tabs on Mr. Lee's up-coming film releases. One that is supposed to be released this year (2008) is the film 'Monstermania!' an animated film (for which this thread is related) in which Mr. Lee portrays a character named 'Mr. Price'.
There still isn't a whole lot of new information on the film; however, I did find a new site for one of the companies that is participating with Uli Meyer (Producer/Director of the film)....The site gives a brief synopsis of the storyline (though Mr. Lee's character is still a mystery!)......Based on the site; I am hopeful we will see a 'trailer' in the near future...I will try to watch for any updates to this film.
If you have the time and are interested; here is the link to the site: CineCarat
Also, if you go to the 'News/Press Release' tab there are PDF's regarding Mr. Lee's recording and earlier production information for the film.....
Cheers,;)
