Wink Mr. Lee at Glasgow Airport

Hi Everyone, I found this interesting little blurb; Mr. Lee was at the Glasgow Airport yesterday. Though the article isn't about Mr. Lee; but the 'return to work' of a local hero, I thought I would share this with you.....

If you have the time and are interested here is the link:

Cheers,
Helen

Thanks for directing us to the article Kaitlin, I had a good chuckle. Just shows - celebrity is all relative isn't it

I'm just glad Mr Lee is O.K. as for the fellow that tackled the fool that was trying to do this, good on him. He deserves some time in the spotlight Kaitlin

Acording to the article Mr Lee played Sauron the white in Lord of the Rings. Had no idea. I thought it was Saruman the white. hehe.

Re: Mr. Lee at Glasgow Airport

Also they refer to Mr Lee as Sir Christopher Lee - do they know something we don't?

Yes Stuart, I did wonder about that. Can't be too long before this honour is bestowed, surely.

Wink Re: Mr. Lee at Glasgow Airport

Interesting points....

However, I am more curious to know WHY Mr. Lee was at the Glasgow Airport....I see some of the choices being: 1) A round of Golf....2) Filming for 'The Stone of Destiny'....3) Just Visiting

My personal choice is # 1 and #2....I don't think Mr. Lee would pass up a nice round of Golf, during breaks in filming.....

Cheers,;)
Helen

Re: Mr. Lee at Glasgow Airport

I would guess a combination of all of them Scotland is a great place to visit, it is so beautiful there. and since the scots invented golf a great place to golf, not to mention the film is being shot there I think Kaitlin

Re: Mr. Lee at Glasgow Airport

Mr Lee was apparently in Glasgow for the filming of Stone of Destiny since the Film takes place in Scotland, parts of the film are being shot in the Glasgow Paisley area. There was nothing about Mr Lee in the blurb I read on Gerard Butler.net, but the film was mentioned as was the location. Kaitlin
