Christopher Lee & Tolkien Ensemble present Lord of the Rings

Hi everyone,

there will be three Lord of the Rings concerts in Germany and Austria: on 18th June in Königstein, Germany, on 23rd June in Klagenfurt, Wörthersee, Austria, and on 25th June in Berlin, Germany.

A very warm welcome in Germany, Mr. Lee!

As the site is only in german, here a translated statement from the programm of the Wörthersee festival:

"Premiere for Tolkiens masterpiece as a concert. The most famous saga of the world celebrate its premiere in Klagenfurt. Enjoy with Lord of the Rings a musical trip to the world of the elves, hobbits, wizards and orcs. More than 100 actors will turn the Wörthersee stage into a place of Middle-Earth to present the story of the fight Good against Bad in form of a musical. The audience will expect the Tolkien Ensemble, the Philharmony of the Ring and the Official Chor of the Shire also solists like Peter Hall and Casper Reiff. Paintings created by the Queen of Denmark will also be presented. The audience can enjoy the songs and poems from LOTR - from the national hymne of Mordor to the hits from Annie Lennox and Enya. The exceptional highlight will be the narration through the greatest star from the film trilogie: Hollywood legend Christopher Lee!"

Hi, Conny

Like me I already spoke several times, you Germans always have a great privilege for receiving Mr. Lee in several occasions in your country.

A lot of people friends travel continuously to Germany (as here in Gate it is local of German colonization) and they bring wonderful pictures of the visited places.

Then you will be there, Conny... I am with jealousies, but it is a good jealousy doesn't worry.

My brother and I will go to the Wörthersee concert making a short trip to Austria.
I have received the tickets, I can`t believe it at all yet ...to have this opportunity to meet Mr. Lee and hear him sing...am so happy, it is a dream come true for me.

Isabel, Julia, if I had the power I would beam you to this concert!

I've always been a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and when I saw this thread, I became very excited although I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend.
