Rep Power: 0 | The Christopher Lee Number Game
Well here goes nothing,
Based on Stuart Ball's great idea of the alphabet game, I thought we would see how far we can get with this one.
So to start the Ball rolling, sorry Stuart.:p One Night with You. (1948)
Simple and to the point, I could go on to say Mr. Lee is One in a million.
Or should it start with 0?
Cheers
Colin.

How about Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers or even Gremlins 2 The New Batch.
I get the feeling this game will last a lot longer than the alphabet one...

Hello everyone,
Well, here's another interesting one! Now we've started up a "numbers game" (hehe!) I'll move things along with 4:
How about The Four Musketeers (1974)?
And if I bend the rules slightly in order to include Mr Lee's love of golf, I can perhaps get in the exclamation "Fore!" which is used to warn people in the path of a golf ball. Ball... anyone notice a recurring theme here? Stuart? Colin?
Anyway, I have a good one in mind for five but I shall offer the turn to someone else. Take care everyone:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Cheers! | Precisely the one I was thinking of, Charles! (even though it's in amongst those films on my "not yet seen" list of Mr Lee's cinematic work). It's a challenging business trying to find all of Mr Lee's films, but at the same time it's great because he has been involved with so many films and productions that there's always something new to look out for. Anyway, I'm rambling now. I have some ideas for the number six:
An artistic career which has lasted for six decades (to date).
A height of six-plus feet ( six foot four or five, depending on which source you read).
And one more, which is a triple six, is the release date of Rasputin: The Mad Monk, which was 6th March, 19 66 ( 666...? I'm not even going to go there, except to note that Mr Lee has played Old Nick a few times in his career!) ;)
Well, onwards with number seven please someone. Take care everyone:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

This is definitely challenging! Seven's...........
Mr. Lee had 7 films/TV episodes released in the years; 1958, 1961, 1973 and 1976! Seven is also for the 7 Award nominations (and 12 Wins) Mr. Lee has had over the years.......
Cheers,;)

Helen | I like those sevens a lot, Helen! Don't forget though House of the Long Shadows, based on the Earl Derr Biggers book, Seven Keys to Baldpate! Who's going to give us number 8, I wonder? Take care:
Warmest regards,
Andrés Note: one more seven I just thought of that I think you'll like, Helen: " Seven [rings] for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone" (from the "Verse of the Rings" which Mr Lee recites as track one of At Dawn in Rivendell). Bye for now!

Hmmm, this game is getting tough already!
The only thing I can think of for eight is that Hammer released eight pictures in their Dracula series but of course Mr Lee only appeared in seven of them.

Your'e right Stuart, it's not as easy as I first thought.
Unless I'm missing an obvious one for 9 here goes:-
Mr Lee's 9th movie was Trotie True 1949.
Run time was 96 min USA 91 mins.
And according to the movie meter it is 9% whatever that means.
I could have said Space1999. or Mr. Lee's most prolific years for making movies totaled 9 each time.
Ceers

Well, For number 10 it took some creative digging, but here goes..........
Mr. Lee participated with the actors; Michael Gough, Michael Ripper and Roger Moore in 10 productions........
Mr. Lee's participation in the film the Bloody Judge was released under 10 different titles!
Jimmy Sangster who is a 'Writer' for various Film and Television productions over the years; colaborated on 10 films Mr. Lee was in...........
And finally, according to IMDB....Mr. Lee was in 10 theatre productions.......
I am sure there are more, but this is all I could come up with right now......
As an interesting side note; One of the things I have noticed in looking up information for this game....Mr. Lee has a higher percentage of 'odd number' performances either in film/ music/ etc, by year or catagory of film or with different Actors/Actresses/Directors!
Cheers,;)
