Mr. Lee Narrated new IMAX film

Hi Everyone,

I ran across this short blurb/article about Mr. Lee and a new IMAX film he narrated. The film is Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs.Which opens this month...The article also talks about how Mr. Lee is still 'needed' as an actor....Nice little article...

How wonderful we will be hearing that voice in something else. The IMAX films are usually so well done this sould be a real treat both for the eyes and the ears. Kaity

That looks great, I've always wanted to see an Imax movie, but with not living near one it's not easy.

Incidently, this reminds me of a DVD I got a while back called The Mummy hosted by Mr. Lee.

It says
This programme takes an in-depth look at mummies, zombies, and the walking dead of Hollywood's Golden Age........
.....also featured are interviews with Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, and many other legands........
........Hosted by the legandary Christopher lee.

On the disc is also rare footage of King Tut's Tomb, Tomb of Luxor.

It's a must for Mr. Lee fans if you don't already have it.

Colin, Thank You for the information on the DVD, looks interesting! Will have to see about obtaining it....

I am fascinated by Egyptology...I have taken a number of classes on the Religion and History of Egypt...Absolutely fascinating...My one regret, was that I was unable to fit a class on Hieroglyphics into my schedule!

Don't know, when they'll show it in Austria, but I REALLY hope, there is NO german sync!! I want to hear Mr. Lee's voice and no other.

Hi Everyone! Way back in March I posted this thread about the New IMAX film Mr. Lee narrated: Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs.
Recently I have been finding a number of 'reviews' of the film. In all, Mr. Lee is praised for his 'Perfect Voice' for this type of film....

We have an I Max about 10 minutes from our house, I just hope it comes there I would love to see It. Where is the Mummies DVD available would like to get that one too Kaity

Hi Everyone, I found this blog that mentions the IMAX film 'Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs'...from the blog; the film recently had its 'premiere' in New York City (which should mean that it should start distribution within the USA very soon!). The blog goes on to indicate that it will be available in the UK in September of this year....

I will try to find more information on this as I can.
