Curse Of Frankenstein 50th Anniversary
Don Fearney is organising an event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of " Curse Of Frankenstein"
It'll be held at Bray Studios on August 4th this year and run from 10.00 - 17.00.
The last two Bray events were truly astounding and I'm sure this will live up to expectations.
He's hoping to have about 40 Hammer guests in attendance.
More details to follow but I, for one, am delighted at this news.
I thought the Legend Of Hammer event would have been the last but Don feels this anniversary should be celebrated in style
I'll be there.

Re: Curse Of Frankenstein 50th Anniversary
My God, 50 years sounds like such a long time!
I can't believe I was even ALIVE back then. I was in a highchair, sure, but alive, & already getting into trouble.
Well, congrats to Mr. Lee & Hammer. The film IS a Classic.
Where is Bray Studios? I assume it's in the UK. Wish it was here in the States. Either way, it'd make a great FIELD TRIP for our CLW family!

That is a magic time, half century....
Mr. Lee does have a lot of experience to count, he went by this also and in an unforgettable way for us the fans.
Congratulations Hammer, Mr. Lee and to all great actors and actress that passed for there.

Hello everyone,
This sounds like an absolutely fabulous event, Matt. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to go along because I suspect I'll be in Spain on that date, although nothing is certain yet. If I am here, I'd love to go along for such a wonderful occasion. May I ask where we can find more information on the event itself? I hope that everyone who manages to attend this has a brilliant time there! Thanks for letting us know about this, Matt. Take care everyone:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Re: Curse Of Frankenstein 50th Anniversary
A couple of things here. Bray Studios is in the UK near Windsor and more details on booking and contacts will be available very soon.
I know Don is hoping to have a huge barbecue on the lawn of Down Place by the Thames and that Hazel Court has already agreed to attend. The first of many, many guests.

Re: Curse Of Frankenstein 50th Anniversary
This really does sound like a fabulous event. I'm glad that the anniversary of Curse is being celebrated as it is a landmark movie in the horror genre.
Here's hoping I can make it...

Re: Curse Of Frankenstein 50th Anniversary
Hi Matt , I hope to be going to "Bray 3" myself and meet some "Hammer" folk I haven't met yet. I have just set up a little web site on the collecting of "Hammer" posters, you might be interested to see some of stuff on there.
Dave.

Re: Curse Of Frankenstein 50th Anniversary
That's a great site David well done. I'm in a bit of a panic about Bray however.
Those in the know have seen fit to promote me and my new annual leave dates may not be compatible , I'll have to wait a wee while to confirm. Rest assured I'll be doing everything in my power to be there.

Re: Curse Of Frankenstein 50th Anniversary
Hello everyone,
Many congratulations on your promotion, Matt! Like Helen, I too hope that you can arrange it so that you'll be able to attend the Bray event. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it as I know for certain now that I'll be abroad on that date, but I very much hope that everyone who does manage to go has a wonderful day. It should be an amazing experience! I'm disappointed that I won't be able to meet Hazel Court and all the other guests, but c'est la vie. Hopefully there will be another opportunity in the future. Take care everyone and God bless:
Warmest regards,
Andrés
