Remake of the Last Unicorn

I don't know if this was already familiar with any of you but I found an add on my forums saying this.
Of course, this remake includes Mr. Lee

Thank You for sharing the link! I haven't seen this film, and I thought it was interesting (when I looked it up), that Mr. Lee did the voice over for the German edition also.....

So this brings me to a question, which this isn't really the thread for it, however.......since we are here.....

Has there ever been a film that Mr. Lee has done, that he has provided the voice over work for in 'multiple languages' (based on film distribution)? Just an interesting thought.....

Thanks again...

Cheers,;)
Helen

The movie was originally made (unless I'm mistaken) around the eighties. I've seen that version a few years ago and the quality of both the sound and graphics were horrid but today's technology hopefully fixed that up. It isn't WOW but it most definitely is worth the time.

Mr. Lee indeed did the German version, so to say, as well. I found the role he plays (King Haggard) most intruiging. He seemed cold and cruel, yet at the same time forsaken as if lost.

Main plot:
A unicorn finds out she is the last of her species. Aided by a (horrid) wizard and other friends (it's been a while) they go to seek the last of the unicorns, yet, they hear that a certain monster, the Red Bull has made them disappear.

I couldn't help but add this but as soon as the name (Red Bull) was mentioned, I pictured a calf who had drunk Red Bull. Sorry. *mouthzip*

Web con preguntas y respuestas del libro, la película entre otras informaciones:
http://utd500.utdallas.edu/~hairston/lufaq.html

Web:
http://www.danielthomas.org/pop/film...astunicorn.htm
En una parte del artículo se puede leer lo siguiente:
"That love extends to the voice actors as well. There's the great antecdote regarding Christopher Lee, who arrived at the recording sessions, book in hand, with key passages highlighted. The man simply would not allow the directors to cut out his favorite parts. You can hear that dedication in his role of Haggard, an embittered old king who has imprisoned the world's unicorns under the sea. Lazy as I am, I want to make the obvious comparison to his role in Lord of the Rings, but I think Lee is better here. He's more emotionally involved."

Re: Remake of the Last Unicorn

Muchas gracias por la tal información rica, Luzmila.

Pero yo pienso que yo lloraré.... yo normalmente lloro cuando yo miro películas que dicen las historias con los animales... mis estudiantes me miran y ellos dicen: " El maestro está llorando.... "

Thank you for the such rich information, Luzmila.

But I think that I will cry.... me usually cry when I look at movies that it say the histories with the animals... my students look at me and they say: " The teacher is crying.... "
