I had watched this film in television and me didn't remember more of the character's characteristics. I just reminded that he used a mask and it worked with lions.
I agree that Mr. Lee should be very well. That great smile!

Shame I don't have the IP-Tracer anymore. That way I could figure where the offerer (Sp?) lives and can nick it for myself
(insert maniac-like cackle here)
*clears throat*
Of course I would never do that :ninja: Or would I?

Hello everyone,
I found another nice photograph of Mr Lee on ebay, and rather than start a new thread just for that, I thought I'd add the information here. The photograph in question is from a seller in France, and relates to the premiere screening of the James Bond film, The Man With the Golden Gun, at the Champs-Elysées. It's a great group picture, with Mr Lee, his wife, Gitte, Hervé Villechaize (a.k.a. "Nick Nack") pointing the golden gun, and director Guy Hamilton towards the rear of the group. There are two other ladies in the shot, but I have no idea who they are. From the item description, I read that the photo dates from 21/12/1974. Here is the link to the item: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JAMES-BOND-007...ayphotohosting.
Well, with the forthcoming film, Casino Royale, I guess that James Bond is back in the limelight (did he ever really leave it?) I'm curious to see how Daniel Craig will interpret 007. The excerpts I've seen so far look rather promising! All the best:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Hello everyone,
Yet another photograph of Mr Lee on ebay! This one comes from a German seller, and, as far as I could tell, was taken at a private event in the sixties. The picture is in black and white, and shows Mr Lee with a pen in his hand and some document passing hands as well. It looks like it could have been a signing of some sort. Anyway, here is the link to the photo: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/altes-Privatfo...ayphotohosting.
I like the expression on Mr Lee's face, but I'm at a loss as to how to describe it. Well, take care everyone:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Isn't it curious how Mr Lee has one of those kinds of faces which adapts itself to many nationalities? English, Italian, French, Russian, American, Indian (see "Far Pavilions"), Chinese, etc.
I've noted this on more than one occasion that Mr Lee sometimes has an Oriental look about him. When he was playing Dr Fu Manchu, he would travel to the studios or to the locations for the filming wearing the make-up, because it took a very long time to apply it, and one Chinese gentleman actually thought Mr Lee was Chinese. Well, as the man pointed out to Mr Lee, "Lee" is a Chinese surname.
Below is a screen capture shot from the TV show The Avengers, the episode entitled "The Interrogators". I think Mr Lee looks oriental in some moments during this episode, and here is one example. I agree with you, Isabel, it's in the eyes! Take care:
Warmest regards,
Andrés
