| Let's get Mr. Lee into Burton's Sweeney Todd!
OK. It's official. Tim Burton will be directing the film version of Sondheim's great musical horror story "Sweeney Todd." So far, only Johnny Depp is being mentioned for a role (as Todd himself). I think we all need to start lobbying to get Mr. Lee considered for the role of Judge Turpin! He is ideally suited for the role, that of an evil, scheming, crooked judge who the mad barber exacts bloody revenge upon. Mr. Lee's fantastic singing voice is perfect, also, for this role, which is featured in at least two classic songs. There has been somed discussion on IMDB about how ideal he's be in this part. Now we, too, should make ourselves heard! I honestly believe that this could be one of Mr. Lee's greatest roles! Any discussion, anyone?
