As you may know, Robin Hardy has a new book called "Cowboys for Christ" that is available on May day. This book is also the subject of a new movie in which our Mr. Lee is participating.
There is a great 'online interview' (video clip) with Robin Hardy and Mr. Lee discussing the book.
If you have a few minutes to spare and are interested the link is: http://www.cowboysforchrist.info/
Cheers,;)

Hello everyone,
Thank you for this information, Helen. I certainly look forward to reading this book at some point. Those who have read and enjoyed The Wicker Man will definitely want to progress to this next story, I am sure. I really hope that the film also comes to fruition soon so that we may have yet another privileged insight into that weird and wondrous world we saw once before. The very best of luck to Mr Hardy and Mr Lee, and to everyone else involved with this project:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

I ran across this tidbit on Cowboys for Christ, from the 'allmediaScotland.com'... It gives a brief (very brief)synopsis of the story and one of the most interesting and descriptive comments made by (or attributed to) Mr. Lee.....

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Cowboys for Christ It was WORTH, Helen! It was worth for the information and posted address.
I wait, as Marije, and all of the fans for seeing that. Also very exciting and curious the comment done for (or it attributed) Mr. Lee.
I wait, of every heart, that is thrown by the world, in the four songs, in the same time.

Hello everyone,
Well, I finally got round to buying and reading the book. I was fortunate enough to find a signed edition in a bookshop on Oxford Street recently, so that gave me the extra motivation to buy it sooner rather than later.
What can I say? This is a wonderful book! As usual, I won't go into too much detail, because I wouldn't wish to spoil it for those of you who haven't yet read Cowboys For Christ and would like to do so. The story is rivetting, and, as Mr Hardy and Mr Lee quite rightly put it in the online interview, it's "not so much a whodunnit as a when are they going to do it". The odd phrase or expression, or event along the way gives the reader the clue that something wicked is going to happen to the two main characters, Beth and Steve. It is a brilliant mix of humour, eroticism, and sinister foreboding. I very much hope that Robin Hardy will be able to get this book made into a film, because the character of "Sir Lachlan Morrison" would be an excellent role for Mr Lee, especially as it would give him the opportunity of singing in another film, if they follow the story faithfully. The character definitely seems to have been written with Mr Lee in mind, as those of you who read the book will no doubt recognise (it is very easy to envisage Mr Lee in this part). Sir Lachlan is very much like Lord Summerisle, which is not all that surprising.
Anyway, I would urge all of you who are interested in The Wicker Man to go out and buy Cowboys For Christ. It is a most worthwhile exploration of themes already developed in The Wicker Man and the denouement is simply too ghastly for words. You will definitely enjoy this book:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Cowboys for Christ I believe that the book is quite interesting. I am curious, but I researched in the internet and I only found the title in English. There was not translation of him still for Portuguese, as well as the autobiography Lord Of Misrule (Oh! Lament that deeply). For the time being I am devoted to look the pictures and to translate the subject that calls me slowly more the attention!

I haven't got the book yet. I'm wondering, is this book based in a western style or is this in the European style?
Thanks,
Amber

Thanks,
Amber | Hello everyone,
I'm not quite sure what your question is, Amber. If you mean whether it is set in the US or in Europe, the answer is both. I think that's what you're asking, but do say if it's something else you want to know. Take care:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Thanks,
Amber | You're very welcome, Ms Klinge. I hope you'll be able to get the book, because it is really good. I think you can probably buy it from amazon.com. Whether it has made it into the book shops in the States yet I wouldn't be able to say. Anyway, best of luck finding it:
Warmest regards,
Andrés
