The Scotsman is reporting that Robin Hardy is interested in a new outlet for the Wicker Man.
Bringing it to stage as a musical.
At least we know with Robin Hardy, the Wicker Man should stay mostly intact and more faithful to the original.
Though the article in the Scotsman does make this observation by a Dr. Cramer,
"The whole idea of the Lord of the Manor does not exist in the same way that it did in 1973 [when the film was made]. Christopher Lee who starred in the original film looked like one of the last well-born Scots; it is debatable as to whether that kind of character still exists. Updating the story brings its own challenges."
