Tuesday, January 31st saw the release of the Corpse Bride on DVD here in the US. I had pre-ordered my copy, still waiting for it to get here! Reviews of the DVD are starting to pop up on the Internet, there is a really nice writeup by the 'Daily Collegian', which describes the 'extras' and also describes Mr. Lee's characterization of Pastor Galswell as '....one of the more arresting performances of the movie.' Definitely, an excellent addition to your 'collection' of films of Mr. Lee..... Dave, You are absolutely right! This DVD is phenomenal!....The special features section is as much fun as watching the movie. From "Voices from the Underground" and "The Voices behind the Voice", where we get to see the actors and actresses "perform" their parts..To the "Inside the two Worlds of Corpse Bride" and the "Preproduction Galleries", where we get to see the "mechanics" behind the Corpse Bride. I think this is one of the best "Special Features" I have seen.........Not to forget that the movie itself is great..... It is fun seeing Mr. Lee performing........... I think many, if not everyone will enjoy the quality and entertainment value of this movie and dvd........ Cheers, :) Helen

I really want to buy it. Mr. lee has alot of funny stuff in this film, which I have not had the privilage of seeing much. It shows the range of him, as a actor.

The Corpse Bride is currently featured for ordering "on demand" (for those of you in the States with Time Warner cable). I'm planning on enjoying a viewing this weekend with the kids!
