The IMDB entertainment news for January 20 had a short piece quoting Mr. Lee, under the headline LEE SLAMS HOLLYWOOD TEENAGERS. You can find the brief newsbite at http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/2006-01-20/ about 3/4 of the way down the page. Oddly there is no indication of when, where or to whom Mr. Lee made the comments.
I couldn't agree more on it. It sounds like his words and we can only hope it is.
It's like any profession. If you are a singer for example and have just began singing lessons you can't start with Wagner right away you have to start from scratch and then you might be able to sing Wesendock Lieder. The same goes for roles in film. Take roles that suit you and work yourself up.

He wasn't really slamming the young people, though, he was slamming Hollywood for putting so much pressure on people who are too young and inexperienced for it. And those of them who have real talent may find their careers ruined by too much weight being put on their shoulders too early.
