Thanks, Andres, for answering all my questions with your neverending good humor, and for providing many informative and interesting bits of info in your posts. A very big thank you to everybody who remembered my birthday!!

Apologies for the slight delay in responding to these kind messages, but I am not currently at home, and so access to the Internet is limited. It is very touching to receive so many Happy Birthday wishes from you all.

I will be writing more on the concert at the Barbican in due course and on the relevant thread, but I just wished to express here how very much I enjoyed the event, but also how sad I was that Mr Lee was unable to perform due to illness. Mr Tim Pigott Smith admirably stepped in at short notice as narrator, and gave a fine reading of the text, so I, for one, would like to thank him for this. I very much hope that Mr Lee is recovering from his illness, as it was the one concern that preyed on my thoughts during the performance, and I wish him a very speedy recovery, and hope that he will soon be well.

Once again, thank you all very much indeed for wishing me a Happy Birthday, and I hope to be with you soon when I return home:
