Devilship Pirates dvd...

In case you don't know...
The dvd from The Devilship Pirates had been released on dvd in the UK, but it says at online stores (and also on the dvd cover) it's fullscreen.
This is not the case. It's a nice widescreen print and the overal image is quite good.

If you didn't pick it up because of this...
No extra's on the disc though, not even a trailer!

This has been on my "want" list for ages. Hope some of those online stores are in the US. Great photo as well! :)

It's always a pleasure to discover a Hammer Film once again...this one is really delightful and Christopher Lee is doing there a very fine performance as Captain Robeles.
Filmed in 1964 by Don Sharp, this movie still have the taste of the golden days of Hammer Film, with all the traditional staff.., as we say in French, "un vrai film d'Aventures" ..Dont miss this DVD...a good opportunity for the "collectors", or simply a wonderful moment !

Woww! well here at US I haven't seen it on DVD, but I think it's gonna be soon I hope! I can't wait to get it!

And talking about pirates, the production of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3, should call Mr. Lee to make Jack Sparrow's father, I knew that Keith Richards is not gonna be in the movie, so I think it would be a good idea that he could play that role, don't you think?
