Juan Aneiros is on a distinguished road
You already know that we have secured the rights to "Dare to Dream", the documentary on the making of the film.

We are now hours away of signing the rights to the film too. We have tried for years to get the film released and now we are going to end up being the owners of the darn thing. Tomorrow we have a meeting with the copyright owners but I can advance you now that the deal is almost sealed.

This will mean a race against the clock to a worlwide release Jinnah in DVD and VHS. The DVD will include Dare to Dream, commentary by Mr. Lee and possibly another of the main actors. It is too late for a teatrical release now.

Since we are only a very small company with limited funds and resources, that may mean that The Making of a Legend will have to be postponed until after we get Jinnah out. It is a shame because the new release was coming out like a dream and we got as far as completing Volume II and was waiting only on Volume III and Tim Burton's intro.

Please understand that the release of Jinnah is Mr. Lee's biggest dream, he is more proud of this film that anything he ever done before, so obviously all our efforts and time will have to be moved to Jinnah.

An official announcement will be made very soon.

Excellent news . It's about time that this film became more accessable to the general public . I'm sure Mr Lee is delighted at the prospect . :)

When I told Mr. Lee that they accepted our terms, there was a very big silence. I think the emotion got to him.

That's amazing news.

I'm glad to have seen it on the big screen when i was in London and it was, and still is an amazing film.

With the dvd (and vhs) format more people can see this film.
Very good news. Not just for Christopher Lee fans, but for movie lovers in general.

Now that is absolutely the best news I've heard here in ages. Jinnah deserves a widely available release, and while I'm not surprised that a theatrical release isn't going to happen, DVD and VHS means it will still reach a pretty wide range of people. The fact that this will essentially be a Christopher Lee film never before released in the US should mean a fair bit of attention and interest considering the current popularity attached to his name due to both Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. The timing couldn't be better from that perspective. Once a release is confirmed folks...TELL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW TO LOOK OUT FOR THIS PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED CHRISTOPHER LEE MOVIE!

Cheers!

I think it great news as well, I do have a copy, but it would be so much better on DVD.
Its been a long time coming, I remenber us talking about it last year I think.
Its one of Mr. Lee's best performance, Mr. Lee put his heart and sole into the making of the film.
And it shows.

This is great news! After everything that I have read about Jinnah, it always frustrated me that I wasn't able to see it. Now that it looks like it will be coming out on DVD, I'll actually be able to own it!

I'm really looking forward to hearing any upcoming announcements about this movie. This is very exciting. :D
