I'm listening to the Lord of the Rings music at the moment. I particularly like the second half of the 'Isengard Unleashed' track in the Two Towers' soundtrack.

I fullheartedly agree with that.

The music is so powerful, it just sweeps me right off my feet and takes me back to Middle Earth. It's so overwhelming, I still cry everytime I listen to it.
Heh, I kind of made a ritual of listening to my FotR soundtrack- the lights have to be off and I'd light candles everywhere and noone would be allowed to come in the room or want something from me.

Every evening when I'm in bed, I listen to one of the tracks while I'm reading. It's a good system, because I read for a long as the soundtrack lasts, every evening, and I don't feel tired as the music's playing!

I think Howard Shore did a great job with the LotR soundtracks - they help inspire me to write fanfiction and stuff. :D My favourite tracks from both include 'Treason at Isengard', the pieces from Khazad-Dhum (sp?) and Track 16 of the TT OST, though I don't know the name of the track! ;) Typical...
