Hi everyone i just joined today ive been a christopher lee fan for some time but i have question i hope someone can answer i hope this isn't a repeat thread. 1. Has Mr Lee ever been nominated for an oscar? 2.Do you not think Mr lee should get a life time achivement award from oscar and will it ever happen? cheers |

Hi Gerry . It's nice to welcome a fellow Scot to the site . Mr Lee has'nt been nominated YET . He's one actor who REALLY deserves a lifetime achievment Oscar ............. fingers crossed it happens soon . By the way Gerry are you going to the Memorabilia event at the SECC tomorrow ( 23rd August ) . If so check out my photo on site and , if you see me , come up and say hi . |

Thanxs matt i saw the advert for the show on tv today it's on tomorrow and sunday i think.I'll c what i can do. I can't believe Mr Lee hasn't been nominated, I'd love to see him get an oscar or for oscar to give him a life time achievment award. cheers |

He has won however the highest award that any actor can receive, "World Actor Lifetime Achivement Award" in Vienna. Second in prestige only to the Nobel prize. He is the first actor ever to have received such prize.
