Well, Stimpy, I watch toons constantly, having a five-year old who's hopelessly addicted to them, and Boomerang is a favorite show. Some of those Hanna-Barbera's are ones I avidly watched as a child. Anything in particular you can describe from this? Perhaps I can nail it down. And when you say "one of those things that is in THE WICKER MAN," what exactly are you referring to? The Wicker Man himself?

I doubt, though, it would've been an intentional reference. The majority of those cartoons were produced in the sixties, a good five to ten years before The Wicker Man was made.

Dave that wooden thing an the reason i call it a thing is cuz i forget what it's called! hehe anyways it may not be intential but it reminded me of
THE WICKER MAN neverless. i still ocassioally watch cartoons myself it nothing is on.there's one on Showtime
Beyond that U might like Dave called Shadow Raiders it's Completly made by
CGI an it's amazing. kind of like the way Toy Story or Shrek was made. anywys i think it was in the OLD superman Cartoons that was made in the late 60's or early 70's. i can't remember. i'll write it down next time i see it. it didn't occur 2 do that beforehand. sorry bout that.

Thats right there is nothing like watching cartoons early on a saturday morning. And seens as I am 15 it doesn't look totally odd. Yet in someways it is. Hmmm Stimpy i have never actually bothered to watch boomerang but it is linked with cartton network, which I sometimes watch. 'Shadow Raiders' I have never watched that before, but I do have a liking for CGI films. I think that the Final Fantasy movie was amazing as the graphics were perfect. It is sorta' scaring thinking that one day they might not even need actors on camera, only their voices. And maybe one day they won't even need that! technoligy is moving fast really, if you think about it. But it maybe a very long time before they get these things to total perfection.
