Just curious, but has anyone signed up to the Hyperspace premium membership over at starwars.com? If so, what's it like? I can't sign up myself because I don't have a major creditcard, though I may be able to sway my mum to let me use her card if it's a must-have thing.

OOOOOOh, I might just have to break down and sign up for the Hyperspace thingy. I can't stand living in this state of temptation forever...when I get around to it, I'll let you know how it is.

Thanks RJ - I hope I can join some time before they finish filming, too! :D

Jurious, have you heard any more as to when to cartoons will be coming out in the UK?
Wasn't they meant to fill in the gap between the films.

No, 'fraid not...all I know is that they're due for an autmn/fall release in the US, but, as Brits, we always get Star Wars things later...I'd hoped for a winter release this side of the Atlantic, but I don't have a clue, to be honest!

Star,
The latest edition of the Star Wars Insider Magazine states that the cartoon series is to begin in November 2003. YOu never can tell though, might not come out until months later...
Star Wars Insider this month has a really nice cover picture that is the cartoon series...really cool sithly looking female in the background with a red saber in each hand. Kinda neat! The animation has such a Samarai Jack look to it, it's great!

I reckon the female villain is called something like 'Asajj Ventress'. I've heard that she'd an agent of our Count Dooku, and uses two red lightsabres, with curved handles, alike his. :) Nice to have a female villain for once, especially one who knows how to use a lightsabre!
I don't know if anyone can help me out here, but does this 'Ventress' bare more than a fleeting resemblance to 'Komari Vosa' in the 'Bounty Hunter' GC/PS2 game? They're not the same character, are they? Vosa not only was once Dooku's Padawan, but also uses two, red, curved-hilted lightsabres. Coincidence?

I joined hyperspace right off the hop. The set reports are interesting to read and the webcam viewing has been a lot of fun (when it captures something interesting that is). They have been making an effort to make sure the camera is in interesting places. On top of that, seeing the old Bantha Tracks stuff online and being able to see the Droid Control Ship Attack sequence from Episode II is neat. We are supposedly going to be able to download the Clone Wars shorts when they hit. Hyperspace isn't for everybody but here is one fan who doesn't regret paying for it.

I've been a Hyperspace member right from the beginning and I have to say I love it. The webcam is fun to watch and the daily dairy reports from the set are great. There are the chats with the cast and crew in which I got to ask Rick McCallum a question. I've got more then my money's worth. Hope this helps.

| u_u Heh - thank you! I've been playing about with animated avatars, and couldn't resist doing something like that. It beats my previous one, at least...which was just a picture of me! ^_~
