I'm looking forward to the release of the extended DVD of The Two Towers. There will be Huorns at Helms Deep, Ent Draught, and, hopefully, more Saruman/Wormtongue scenes. Does anyone know when it comes out?

Methinks I'll do what I did with FOTR. I'll wait until the SE comes out. I don't mind waiting until December. Not much, that is...

I'm going to wait for the extended version. Anyone here see the trailer available from the onering.net? I'm sure there were several scenes in it which weren't in the theatical release of TTT - the line about "there will be no dawn for men", and "So Gandalf Greyhame thinks he's found the lost king of Gondor" among others I think.

Have to say I was a bit disappointed with TTT though. It's a shorter book than FOTR, yet the film was longer and still managed to lose half the book, and change crucial elements. Can't help hoping it'll be better in the extended version. Thought the extended FOTR was far better than the theatrical release - had a lot more depth
