I'm looking forward to the release of the extended DVD of The Two Towers. There will be Huorns at Helms Deep, Ent Draught, and, hopefully, more Saruman/Wormtongue scenes. Does anyone know when it comes out?
i may have already posted this i can't remember but the cut version meaning the theatrical version comes out in August while the Extended comes out in december just in time for the Final chapter. i think that's what i read?

Methinks I'll do what I did with FOTR. I'll wait until the SE comes out. I don't mind waiting until December. Not much, that is...
well that would be the wise thing 2 do. i don't know about U but i can't wait till all of them are out on dvd an the last Extended version is out. i'm gnna make it into one continuous film u know putting in on some blank tape well tapes anwys since it's gnna be 12 hrs or so as i think dave pointed out.
here's some good news for all of us C. Lee fans that i just read on Scifi-channels official webiste. they said that aug 26 i believe is when the theatrial version is coming out while the version i'm dying to get an i'm sure we all are is the Extended version an that doesn't come out in dec. an the reason i said that was i read that on different dvd sites. well it comes out NOV 18.2003. hell yeah! :D
I'm going to wait for the extended version. Anyone here see the trailer available from the onering.net? I'm sure there were several scenes in it which weren't in the theatical release of TTT - the line about "there will be no dawn for men", and "So Gandalf Greyhame thinks he's found the lost king of Gondor" among others I think.
Have to say I was a bit disappointed with TTT though. It's a shorter book than FOTR, yet the film was longer and still managed to lose half the book, and change crucial elements. Can't help hoping it'll be better in the extended version. Thought the extended FOTR was far better than the theatrical release - had a lot more depth
