Theatre of Blood is one of the very finest British horror/comedies of the period. Arguably Price's best in this genre, although I can never choose between it and the Phibes movies.

Required viewing.

well ask anyone that is a member or even a visitor that has seen it, it's a great movie. it's different from what V.price normally does. even his future wife is in it. me i think the phibes movies are better well the 1st one anywys i never saw all of the 2nd. so i'm not counting that. but that's just what i think. both films theatre of death an the 1st phibes movies are masterpieces! well i think so anywys. only v. price can do those roled no one else! least that's what i think anywys.

Well it seems like a need to watch film as Price never usually does things like that. And then when I watch it I hopefully can say the same as you, about it being a good movie.

I've seen most of the movie. Price is great in it. Price plays an actor who takes revenge against the critics who ruined his career.
If you hate theater critics you will love this movie. If you just want to see Price wearing an afro-style wig, then watch this movie. In my opinion it is worth seeing.

I agree it's a brilliant film. I always remember it for the shocking scene involving a saw. The first time I saw it I couldn't believe what I was seeing, but it was brilliant!!

Diana Rigg plays a very good man.
