Fans of Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce will be thrilled to know that the restored and remastered films have finally been announced on R1 by MPI on DVD starting later this year, 2 films per month (1 film per disc). All 12 Universal titles and the 2 Fox films will be released. No word on extras, but it is a possibility. The British DVD releases by Orbit Media I assume are NOT the restored/remastered versions as there is no mention of this on the packaging.
