This is the only box set I can find in UK and that's Blackstar
here's the link.

http://www.blackstar.co.uk/video/item/7000000075000

The Vampire collection is there as well on same page.

Buy both sets for £38.48

Let us know how good these DVDs are, please. I find it rather odd that I've never heard of this set before.

Sylvain, you don't like Island of Terror?? I find that surprising...it's easily one of my top favorite Peter Cushing films.

Hey Dave,
I'ts not that i don't like it,maybe i should have said that it's simply not one of my favourite films.
Anything with Peter Cushing in it , i will always try to see anyway.
As for first impressions on the box set, i think the first feedback we may get will be from Matt , ther's a good possibility that he'll be the first in our group to have a look at it.

I have to wait a little longer before i can purchase it.
take care!

Sylvain

Sadly, depending on the company concerned a lot of French DVDs offer English soundtracks but with non-removable French subtitles. It seems TF1 has released a box set of THE CHAMPIONS in this way, and DEPARTMENT S to follow later this year. Some people had problems with these subtitles on the French AVENGERS discs.

The only French discs I have bought have not had this trouble (THE GREAT DICTATOR, TO BE OR NOT TO BE, FACE OF FU MANCHU)
