It just keeps coming... more stories are on the way from Scholastic publishing, this time chronicling several generations of Jedi Padawans, and, yup, you guessed it, one of them is none other than our Master Dooku! :D To read all about it, click HERE.

It's basically summed up in the last paragraph:
Quote:
Star Wars: Legacy of the Jedi, an epic tale of four generations of Jedi is by Jude Watson, the best-selling author of the Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest series. It features cover illustration by David Mattingly, with design by Keirsten Geise. It is scheduled for release on August 2003
I'm not usually a reader of the 'Expanded Universe' Star Wars tales, but I may give this a read just to see what it's like. I did read the first two of the Jedi Apprentice series, concerning Kenobi as a young Padawan, but it started to go too 'haywire' for my liking. :P It all sounds fairly intriguing, though, and it's great to finally see an attempt at some 'Dooku fiction' emerging. Whether it's to fans' taste or not is another matter altogether, though; but it's all only published fanfiction in my eyes. Jude Watson, the author, did a fantastic kids' novel about Darth Maul, however (actually, it was a bit too dark for young readers, IMO), so I'm keeping my hopes up for this series.

And if you want to know which of the four Padawans on the featured cover art is the future Count, it's the one on the far left (for large image, click HERE ) with the green sabre, complete with curved hilt. The picture isn't large enough to have a decent enough look at, so I'm not sure of how much the cover pic is alike a teenage Mr. Lee. I've attached a pencil sketch of my impression of a 'Padawan Dooku', though, just for fun. :D

This actually looks very interesting. I don't normally read these expanded universe novels either, but like you Jurious, I'll make an exception for this :D
