Burnt Offerings a Dan Curtis film from the 70s will be released on DVD this summer. Check the dvd drive in site for more info. From what i remember this is the one with Oliver Reed and Karen Black in a possessed house with a strange woman living upstairs . If its the one i think it is it will be worth seeing again.

I had fond memories of seeing Burnt Offerings on a double bill with a little piece of exploitation called Axe .
I saw it for the first time since then , quite recently on the Sci Fi channel . I'm afraid it doesn't hold up so well now . Worth a look but nothing more I'm afraid .

Burnt Offerings is great because of the freaky chauffeur, and seeing an ancient Bette Davis is worth the DVD's weight in gold!

I thought Oliver Reed was very good, and Karen Black, well, was Karen Black. Bette Davis, super as always. I was always spooked by that pool...and those were very interesting bits with the old photos. Makes you question time. Is it real or ---
