Some good news, bad news. The good news is that Peter Jackson says there will be over 150 CG shots in TTT extended DVD (Probably more Gollum:) ). He said that FOTR DVD had only 35 CG shots so the Weta crew are working hard to get the TTT dvd done. The bad news is unlike last year there won't be a trailer at the end of TTT like they did with FOTR,:( because Weta is busy putting the DVD together. So there won't be an early ROTK trailer, but a kick butt dvd at the end of the year. The whole interview can be seen here. http://aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=14590

I may not have explained it right in my origional statement. The trailer was attached to the movie version of LOTR after it had been out for awhile. But in saying that the trailer that was put on the LOTR extended dvd. You have to access it this way:

Insert the second disc of the set and go to the 'Scene Selections.' There select the menu entry for scene '48' to get to the 'Official Fan Club Credits.' Highlight the number '48' on that screen and then press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control to highlight an icon of two towers and you will get to see the theatrical preview for 'The Two Towers.'

Also there is a suprise on the first cd. Insert the first disc of the set and go to the 'Scene Selections.' There select scenes '25-27' and then highlight the menu entry that says 'Council of Elrond.' Now press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control to highlight on icon of the One Ring. Press 'enter' now and you will have the chance to see a special MTV-version of the Council of Elrond. Be warned that this little suprise is of adult nature.
