I'm sure that Mr. Gambon will make a perfectly fine Albus Dumbledore. Bit I'm going to miss Mr. Harris' Dumbledore all the same...

It is a shame that they wouldn't choose Mr. Lee for that part...He would have been perfect in the role of Dumbledore...

Mr Lee has a lot on his plate at the moment, I don't think he minded, It would of been nice, but there was to much going on about who would play the part, it almost be came a battle field what with the news papers, TV and like all making assumptions on who would get the part.

Mr Gambon will have some very big shoes to fill, I'm sure he will be watched very closely by the public.
I wish him luck.

I will miss Mr. Harris in this roll.
My son loves the Harry Potter movies and books, and was quite upset when Mr. Harris died.
But I am sure that Mr. Gambon will do a great job in this roll.

Yes I am sure Mr Gambon will do a excellent job. But coming from a kids point of view..... There is no dumbledore like a Richard harris Dumbledore. When many children think dumbledore they will proberly think of mr. Harris! But then again Mr Gambon may catch on. Wasn't he in 'The Singing Detective'? Strange why is was called 'singing' as he never sing a god damn note :D Well atleast we now know who it is. I found out first from the daily mail, my gran insists on us getting it every single morning including the The Sunday Mail! I wonder if Ian McKellen will play a role in future Harry Potter films? I think he would make a good Mad Eye Moody......that is if he is to put more weight on, i think the character is tuby.

I do think that Mr Gambon will do a fine job, and the kids will acept him.

To tell you the truth, I was surprised when my son asked me to buy the Harry Potter books after we went to the see it at the show. I am for anything that will get Adam to read more, and away from MTV and the computer games.

I don't know this actor, but I'm sure they wouldn't have chosen someone who wasn't quite capable of playing a good Dumbledore. I will sorely miss Richard Harris in this role though...
